VARSITY

Congratulations to the following players who have been selected as members of the 2024 John Jay Boys Varsity Soccer team. This is an incredible achievement, and we want to recognize your hard work, dedication, and talent that earned each of you this spot.

The selection process this year was unbelievably difficult, as we had an extraordinary number of talented players trying out for the team. The level of competition was exceptionally high, and it was truly challenging to make the final decisions. Every player who attended tryouts brought something special to the field, and it was a privilege to see so much passion and skill from each and every one of you.

For those players who did not make the team this year, we want you to know that this decision in no way diminishes your abilities or the effort you put into tryouts. The depth of talent in our school made the selection process incredibly tough, and we had to make some very difficult, unenviable choices. We encourage you to keep working hard, continue to develop your skills, and come back even stronger next year. Your dedication to the sport and to improving as a player is something we deeply respect and admire.

To all players, selected or not, we are proud of the effort and spirit you showed throughout tryouts. The future of John Jay Soccer is bright, and we are excited to see how each of you continues to grow both on and off the field.

Welcome to the 2024 John Jay Boys Varsity Soccer team, and for those who weren’t selected this time, we hope to see you continue to pursue your soccer journey with the same passion and determination that you’ve shown throughout tryouts.
